We offer guided or self-guided tours in France and Albania. In France we give you routes suited to your fitness level. In Albania you follow a set of routes. On self-guided tours you are in charge and follow your rhythm. It is possible to choose e-bikes on both locations if you would like to go the extra mile. In Albania a service car follow your group and you can jump in if you have a bad day.
We will provide you with digital routes as GPX-files, which you can download and navigate from your phone or a GPS enabling device such as a Garmin or Wahoo. We provide you with routes, named by location, distance and elevation, as well as a guide for each route.
The guide will give you a description of each daily route, as well as giving you our top tips for the day such as the best cafe stops and sights. You will be able to access your guide before travel to view the routes and check out where you’re going, to make the most of your time on holiday.
This depends on the trip you choose. When you book a custom made tour in France or a custom made training camp in France or Spain, you can ride as much or as little as you want. We will provide you with a range of options for routes when you book, so you can ride varying distances with different ranges of gradient.
You can simply pick the routes that best suit you when we plan your tour.
Our guided holidays in Albania are ridden at a relatively leisurely pace. It is an active holiday not a race so wherever possible, you will cycle at your own pace, regrouping regularly at meeting points along the route.
On our pre-scheduled training camps or daily guided rides, we will advise you of the speed the rides are ridden at and in most destinations, we will have 2 or 3 different riding groups, cycling at different speeds.

France: You can cycle all the year around at the Côte d'Azur. We recommend February - June and September - December. October and December are our favourite months. Late June - mid September are hot Summer months and the roads are busy from much tourism.
Spain: You can book cycling camps in Cambrils January-April and October-December. January-March can be windy, but you have pleasant days when the sun often is out! April and October-December are our favourite months.
Albania: May - early June and September-October are the best months for cycling. It is possible to book in late June, but consider that the summer months get very hot. There is no cycling in July/August.
For a day tour, it's important to bring a water bottle, any energy supplements you may need, a credit card or some cash, an ID, and your phone. Wear cycling gear or comfortable athletic clothing suitable for physical activity.
We recommend using a high-quality sunscreen and, during the summer months, carrying an extra bottle of sunscreen, as it may melt in the heat. You are welcome to bring your personal helmet and cycling shoes. If you don’t have cycling shoes, sneakers will work just fine.
France: The Côte d'Azur is France's top holiday destination, attracting a large number of tourists. As a result, the roads near the coast can become busy, especially during major events in Nice, Monaco, and Cannes, as well as the peak holiday season from April to August. While there are some cycling paths along the coast, they do not cover all roads, so you should be prepared to share the road with cars. Generally, drivers are considerate of cyclists. Once we leave the main roads and head into the mountain areas, traffic significantly decreases, providing a quieter cycling experience.
Spain: From our accommodation at the Mediterranean Sports Hub, it's easy to leave urban areas and start cycling. We use some main roads with ample space for cyclists, where drivers are respectful and accommodating. Once we reach the mountain roads, we can cycle for hours with very little traffic, encountering almost no cars apart from our service vehicle.
Albania: To begin cycling, we transfer by car to avoid the busy main roads around Tirana. Our cycling routes take us through peaceful countryside and forest roads. Along the way, you might encounter a flock of sheep, a herder on a donkey, or friendly farm animals. The locals are welcoming and kind. In the spring, coastal roads see increased traffic as city residents head to the beaches to enjoy the stunning coastal scenery.
The tours are for experienced road bike cyclists as we cycle in mountainous areas that are medium-difficult technical levels. We guide tours on 3 different levels of distance and climbing. Our groups are of up to 8 persons per guide, we like to make our rides social as well as challenging and leave no-one behind.
On our self-guided holidays, you’re in charge. You can ride as much or as little as you like. In France, we offer a video call to help you choose the best routes and provide suggestions on gradients and climbs based on the area where you’re staying. We’ll provide a selection of routes with varying distances and gradients so you can pick the ones that suit your preferences and fitness level.
For our guided tours, we assist you in selecting the right tour. We offer guided tours in three difficulty levels and will advise you on the pace and technical challenges of each option. These are active holidays, not races, so you’ll cycle at a comfortable pace, regrouping regularly at designated meeting points along the route. You’ll also have time to stop and take in the scenery.
For our training camps or single-day guided rides, we’ll inform you of the speed and intensity of each ride. When multiple riding groups are available, cycling at different speeds, we’ll do our best to match you with the group that best fits your ability and goals.

Please note that we do not setup bikes in accordance with a bike fit.
If you bring your personal bike, make sure that you have your personal bike insurance in place as it is not covered by Lifesparkz insurances. You are responsible for your equipment.
