We offer guided or self-guided tours in France and Albania. In France we give you routes suited to your fitness level. In Albania you follow a set of routes. On self-guided tours you are in charge and follow your rhythm. It is possible to choose e-bikes on both locations if you would like to go the extra mile. In Albania a service car follow your group and you can jump in if you have a bad day.
We will provide you with digital routes as GPX-files, which you can download and navigate from your phone or a GPS enabling device such as a Garmin or Wahoo. We provide you with routes, named by location, distance and elevation, as well as a guide for each route.
The guide will give you a description of each daily route, as well as giving you our top tips for the day such as the best cafe stops and sights. You will be able to access your guide before travel to view the routes and check out where you’re going, to make the most of your time on holiday.
This depends on the trip you choose. When you book a custom made tour in France or a custom made training camp in France or Spain, you can ride as much or as little as you want. We will provide you with a range of options for routes when you book, so you can ride varying distances with different ranges of gradient.
You can simply pick the routes that best suit you when we plan your tour.
Our guided holidays in Albania are ridden at a relatively leisurely pace. It is an active holiday not a race so wherever possible, you will cycle at your own pace, regrouping regularly at meeting points along the route. On our pre-scheduled training camps or daily guided rides, we will advise you of the speed the rides are ridden at and in most destinations, we will have 2 or 3 different riding groups, cycling at different speeds.
The tours are for experienced road bike cyclists as we cycle in mountainous areas that are medium-difficult technical levels. We guide tours on 3 different levels of distance and climbing. Our groups are of up to 8 persons per guide, we like to make our rides social as well as challenging and leave no-one behind.
On our self-guided holidays, you’re in charge. You can ride as much or as little as you like. In France, we offer a video call to help you choose the best routes and provide suggestions on gradients and climbs based on the area where you’re staying. We’ll provide a selection of routes with varying distances and gradients so you can pick the ones that suit your preferences and fitness level.
For our guided tours, we assist you in selecting the right tour. We offer guided tours in three difficulty levels and will advise you on the pace and technical challenges of each option. These are active holidays, not races, so you’ll cycle at a comfortable pace, regrouping regularly at designated meeting points along the route. You’ll also have time to stop and take in the scenery.
For our training camps or single-day guided rides, we’ll inform you of the speed and intensity of each ride. When multiple riding groups are available, cycling at different speeds, we’ll do our best to match you with the group that best fits your ability and goals. Contact us to get the full descriptions of scheduled events and get to know the details on each location.
You can choose road bikes, gravel road bikes, or mountain bikes of various levels. Our standard is a quality carbon road bike that comes with disc brakes and manual gear. You can choose electric gears. If you prefer a flat handle bar, you can pick a touring (hybrid) style bike. You can also choose e-bikes. In France we supply both e-touring and e-road bikes. In Spain and Albania we supply e-touring bikes. Please specify which bike you would like for your tour when booking.
You can choose Look pedals, SPD pedals, Shimano pedals or flat pedals or bring your own pedals. Please check availability of pedals when booking if you book a bike.
All bikes come with a set of tools, a spare tube and a small pump. Often they come with a helmet, if you do not bring your personal helmet.
